The Director of Finance is authorized and directed to pay to the Director of Law, for <br />secretarial services and other general office expenses, the sum of $16,452.00 in 1995, $17,028 <br />in 1996 and $17, 540 in 1997. " <br />SECTION 2: That all Ordinances or Resolutions or parts of Ordinances or Resolutions in <br />conflict herewith are hereby repealed with the effective date of this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the Public Health, Safety and Welfare and for the <br />future reason it is immediately necessary to increase the pay rate for the law clerk position to <br />attract and retain quality Law School students, and further, provided it received the affirmative <br />vote oftwo-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon <br />its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED. ~ ~~~~~-l.~.z-z=~ l ~~ I ~~1 ~f <br />ATTEST.• <br />~, . <br />BARBARA L.
