CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 97 - 103 <br />By: Councilman Dean McKay <br />AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A NEW AND REVISED SECTION 911.07 <br />ENTITLED "BUILDING SEWERS AND CONNECTIONS" OF THE CODIFIED <br />ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, Cuyahoga County, <br />Ohio that: <br />Section 1: That there be, and hereby is, enacted a revised Section 911.07 of the <br />Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, which shall read as follows: <br />"911.07 BUII.DING SEWER AND CONNECTIONS. <br />(a) No unauthorized person shall uncover, make any connections with or opening <br />into, use, alter or disturb any public sewer or appurtenance thereof without first obtaining <br />a written permit from the Service Director. <br />(b) There shall be two classes of building sewer permits: <br />(I) For residential and commercial service; and <br />(2) For service to establishments producing industrial wastes. <br />In either case, the owner or his agent shall make application on a special form <br />furnished by the City. The permit application shall be submitted with any plans, <br />specifications or other information considered pertinent in the judgment of the Service <br />Director. <br />(3) Permit and inspection fees for a sanitary sewer connection or building <br />sewer shall be as follows: <br />A. Each sanitary sewer connection: <br />1. For residential or commercial service $50.00 <br />2. For service to establishments producing <br />industrial wastes subject to the requirements <br />of Chapter 917 $60.00 <br />B. Each ten lineal feet or fraction thereof <br />building sewer $10.00 <br />C. Each manhole, inspection chamber, sampling <br />chamber or similar structure $50.00 <br />Such fees shall be paid to the City at the time the application is filed. <br /> <br />
