JOB CLASSIFiCATION MECHANIC <br />HELPER <br />RESPONSIBLE TO DIVISION <br />FOREMEN <br />CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES OF THE CLASSIFiCATION: <br />Employees within this job c(assification are required to assist in the servicing, <br />repairing, overhauling and maintaining gasoline, diesel and other equipment used by <br />the City. Equipment such as but not limited to automobiles, heavy duty trucks, light <br />duty trucks, bulldozers, tractors, front end loaders, beaches and other types of on <br />road and off road equipment. <br />Employees within the job classification Mechanic Helper, wifl work under direction <br />and general supervision of the Division Foreman. <br />Employees within the job classification Mechanic Helper, shall perform other <br />duties as assigned, within the general character and scope of the job duties <br />described above. <br />.
