(e) . rie. Sa1_es and Storaize EstaLishments. Services, sales and storage establishments <br />are limited to: <br />(1) Cleaning, dyeing and dry cleaning establishments and carpet cleaning; <br />(2) Repair of household appliances and goods produced by manufacturing and <br />assembly processes permitted above; <br />(3) Food, confection and drug preparation; <br />(4) Bottling plants and creameries; <br />(5) Cold storage and food locker plants; <br />(6) Household and maintenance services, dry cleaning and laundry, dyeing, rug <br />cleaning, janitorial and maintenance services; <br />(7) Parcel delivery establishments; <br />(8) Monument works; and <br />(9) Bulk storage or warehouses for such material as building materials, <br />contractors' equipment, cotton, wool, fabrics, feed, furniture, machinery, <br />materials other than scrap or junk, paint, pipe, rubber, shop or store supplies <br />provided there shall be no storage of discarded or salvage articles or of any <br />material outside of buildings. <br />(10) Public storage establishments. <br />(11) Do,g and/or Cat Kennels. Buildings primarily used for the boarding of dogs <br />and/or cats for a fee; provided, however, that animal noise and odor must <br />be effectively confined to any such building so used; that no part of any <br />building so used may be located within 700 feet from any dwelling in the City; <br />and that the total number of animals within any building or buildings so used <br />may not exceed fifty per acre of parcel upon which the said building or <br />buildings are located. <br />( fl Similar Uses. Any Limited Industry-Industrial Park District use not listed above may <br />be permitted upon approval of the Planning Commission provided that: <br />(1) An interpretation that the proposed use is similar to the permitted use has first <br />been obtained from the Boazd of Zoning Appeals; <br />(2) Such use is not listed in any other classification of permitted buildings or uses, <br />and is more appropriate to and conforms more closely to the basic <br />characteristics of Limited Industry-Industrial Park District uses than to any <br />other classification; and <br />(3) Such a use does not generate traffic to a greater e}rtent than other permitted <br />uses listed in this classification, and is similar as to hours of operation of other <br />permitted uses." <br />SECTION 3: That any Ordinance or part of any Ordinance, heretofore adopted by this <br />Council which is in conflict or inconsistent with this Ordinance, is, to the extent of any such conflict <br />or inconsistency, hereby repealed. <br />SECTION 4: That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby d'uected to cause notice of a <br />public hearing to be given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of Article IV of the Charter of the <br />City of North Olmsted. <br />8 <br />
