<br />Resolution No. 98-82 <br />Page 2 <br />4r?` <br />WHEREAS, the North Olmsted City Council with the support of the Mayor and <br />his administration will be prepared to honor its financial commitment to the construction <br />of Crocker-Stearns extension. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Ohio Department of Transportation, the Cuyahoga County <br />Engineer and the Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency be contacted to <br />emphasize the importance of this project for the health and welfare of the citizens of North <br />Olmsted as a means of reducing traffic in residential areas. <br />SECTION 2: That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby directed to transmit a <br />certified copy of this resolution to Congressman Dennis Kucinich, the Ohio Department of <br />Transportation, the Cuyahoga County Engineer and the Northeast Ohio Areawide <br />Coordinating Agency. <br />SECTION 3: That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and for <br />the further reason that it is necessary to bring to the attention of the Ohio Department of <br />Transportation the pressing need for this project, and provided that it receives the <br />affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ? <br />Barbara L.
