be charged with insubordination where such refusal is premised on his exercise of the <br />rights afforded him in Section 22.3 hereof. <br />22.6 When an officer suspected of a violation is being interrogated in an internal <br />investigation, such interrogation sha11 be recorded by the Police Department at the request <br />of either party. <br />22.7. The officer under interrogation and the investigator shall not be subjected to <br />abusive or threatening language. No promise of rewazd sha11 be made. <br />22.8. The officer under investigation shall be informed of the names and addresses <br />of all complainants and on request the complainant may be informed of the name of the <br />officer. The investigating officer of the complaint may be the complainant. No officer of <br />the North Olmsted Police Department shall assume the role and/or name of the original <br />complainant. This does not apply to criminal investigation. <br />22.9. The Law Director for the City, or the appropriate pmsecutor's office shall <br />make any legal determination regarding furnishing a copy of the officer's statement to the officer or his representative. <br /> <br />22.10. At the request of either party, interviews, or portions thereof with an <br />officer, conducted during the course of an inquiry may be tape recorded (audio). <br />22.11.
