AGREEMENT <br />This Agreement is made between the City of North Olmsted (hereinafter referred <br />to as the "City"), and Ohio Labor Council (hereinafter referred to as the "F.O.P."). <br />The purpose of this Agreement is to provide a fair and reasonable method of <br />enabling emgloyees covered by this Agreement to participate, through representation, in <br />the establishment of terms and conditions of their employment, and to establish a <br />peaceful procedure for the resolution of differences between the parties. <br />ARTICLE 1 <br />RECOGTIITION <br />l. l. The Administration recognizes the F.O.P./Ohio Labor Council as the sole and <br />exclusive bazgaining representative for all full-time Corrections Officers in the City of <br />North Olmsted for the purpose of collective bargaining with respect to rates of pay, <br />wages, hours of work and conditions of employment. It is furkher understood by the <br />parties that wages, total complement of personnel, and certain other economic provisions <br />are subject to enactment of an appropriate ordinance by the North Olmsted City Council <br />pursuant to the City Charter. <br />1.2 In the event of a dispute between the parties as to future inclusions or <br />exclusions from the units resulting from the establishment of new or changed <br />classifications or titles, either pariy to this Agreement may apply to the State <br />Employment Relations Board for resolutions of the disputes. <br /> <br />(1) <br />
