<br />their base annual salary; thereafter until completion of their fifteenth (15th) year of full-time service, such <br />employee shali receive six percent (6°l0) of their base annual salary; untii after the completion of the <br />twentieth (20th) year of full-time service, and during each year of full-time service thereafter, they shall <br />receive seven percent (7%) of their base annual salary as longevity increments. <br />SECTION 17: That all full-time adminis#rative and legislative personnel listed within this Ordinance shall <br />receive the following holidays off, unless required to work by their supervisor or the Mayor in <br />emergencies, and shall receive their regular ra#e of pay: New Year's Day; Presidents' Day; one-half (I/2) <br />day on Good Friday; Memorial Day; Independenee Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; one-half (1/2) <br />day on Christmas Eve; Christmas Day; one-half (I/2) day on New Year's Eve Day; the employee's <br />Birthday; and a floating holiday. <br />SECTION 18: That all full-time administrative and legislative personnel listed within this Ordinance shall <br />be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with the Vacation Ordinance. All previous service as an <br />elected City Public Official within the city shall be considered full-time for the purpose of calculating <br />vacation and sick leave upon Retirement. <br />SECTION 19: That all full-time administrative and legislative Non-Bargaining Unit Personnel shall <br />receive two (2) eight (8) hour days off with pay, or may elect to be paid for two (2) eight (8) hour days, for <br />each six (6) continuous month period of unused sick leave. No month shall be counted in more than one <br />period. <br />SECTION 20: That all Ordinances or Resolutions or parts of Ordinances or Resolutions in conflict <br />herewith are hereby repealed with the effective date of this Ordinance. <br />SECTIQN 21: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately <br />necessary for the preservation of the Public Health, Safety and Welfare and for the future reason it is <br />immediately necessary to review all pay scales and bring them into line due to inflation and cost of living <br />increases, and further, provided it received the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it <br />shall take effect and be in force immediately upon it passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />
