Mwisl, Mayor <br />I am requestine a Proposal to provide pmfessional engineenng sen7ces for the design of <br />the rehabilitation of the portion of Brookpark Road between Great Northern Boulevard <br />and the easterly corporation Iine. The project wilI include all intersections as necessary. <br />The improvements will include Temoval and replacement of detenorated base and asphait, <br />underdrain and curbing. Also inciuded wi11 be repair or rebuilding of catch basins and <br />manholes as necessary. All traffic markings shall be repaiated. <br />The Proposal shall include the following items in the Scope of Services: <br />1. General Conditiens• <br />a. Work shall not be subcontracted without pnor consent of the City and the <br />Ohio Public Works Commission in wnring. The consultant shall be certified <br />as a Minonty Business Enterpnse acceptable to the Ohio Public Works <br />Commission. <br />b. Additional billable services shall not be performed without prior consent of <br />the City in writing. <br />c. Key personnel to perform services shall be listed in the proposal. <br />d. The Consultant shall indemnify and hold the City harmicss from all losses <br />and damages re.sulting from the Consultant's faiiure to meet the standard of <br />care for services at thc level customary for competent and prudent engineers <br />performing such services.
