It is the desire of this Council that the ballot languag• <br />presented to Lhe electors of the City of North Olmsted shall be in substaa- <br />tially the following form: <br />PROPOSED INCREASE IN MUNICIPAL INCOME TAX RATE <br />A majoritq affirmative vote is necessary for passage.. <br />Shall the ordinance (Ordinaace No. 90- ) providing for a <br />two percent levy on income, which constitutes an increase <br />of oae perceat in the existingincome tax, and for a credit <br />against that two percent levy equal to one hundred percent <br />of the amounts paid as iacome tax to another municipality <br />on income taxed by the City of North Olmsted to the extent <br />those atnouats do not exceed two percent of that income, ? <br />effective March 1, 1991, for the purpose of providing fuads <br />for the City of North Olmsted to be allocated for use as <br />follows: 15x to pay costs of services and facilities for <br />solid waste maaagement, recycling and disposal; 15% to pay <br />costs of any pertnanent improvements for the City (iacluding <br />permanent impronements to the City's street and storm water <br />drainage systems), including the paqment of debt charges oa <br />bonds and notes issued after 1990 for those purposes, and <br />costs of maintaiaing the City's street and storsn water <br />drainage system and providing related equipment; and the <br />balance to pay costs of general municipal functions of the <br />City, be passed't <br />C hereby cettify thts it? kie a true anii ,- <br />accurate copy of Ordinance or Resolutiak, <br />passed a <br />-C, /4 ao by the <br />. .
