?. <br />? <br />?'"i! <br />_-Aoli <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 90- Q 4 <br />BY : COUNC I LWOMAN EAHAS <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A <br />COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH THE CUYAHOGA COUNTY BOARD OF <br />COMMISSIONERS FOR THE UTILIZATION OF FUNDS MADE AVAIL- <br />ABLE BY THE HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ACTS OF <br />1974, 1977, 1980 AND 1983, AS AMENDED, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Housing and Community Development Acts of 1974, 1977, 1980 <br />and 1983, as amended, provide an entitlement of funds for community develop- <br />ment purposes for urban counties; and <br />WHEREAS, Cuyahoqa County may be <br />that it secures Cooperation Agreements <br />Cuyahoga County; and <br />designated as an Urban County provided <br />with various political subdivisions in <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of the City of North Olmsted desire the <br />use of "Urban County Entitlement Funds" for needed public improvements in <br />Cuyahoga County and its municipalities; and <br />WHEREAS, the County shall prepare an Application for fiscal years <br />1991, 1992 and 1993 Urban County Entitlement Funds pursuant to the aforemen- <br />tioned Acts for the fiscal years 1991, 1992 and 1993 Program Years; and <br />WHEREAS, no less than forty percent (40$) of the total Urban County <br />Entitlement Funds for Cuyahoga County will be expended by the Cuyahoqa County <br />Board of Commissioners on behalf of the participating political subdivisions <br />to finance eligible community development activities, programs, and projects <br />in said participating political subdivisions; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted may appoint one (1) member to an <br />urban County Coordinating Committee and one (1) member of the Urban County <br />Citizen's Advisory Council whose duty it shall be to assist the Cuyahoga <br />County Board of Commissioners in the review of all applications, plans, pro- <br />grams and projects for which Urban County Entitlement Funds may be used. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to enter into
