. . • Page 7 <br />, ,. <br />It . <br />4.3 A check in the amount of the total dues and Fair Share Fees <br />withheld from those Employees authorizing dues and Fair <br />Share Fees deductions shall be tendered to the Treasurer <br />of the Association within fourteen days from the date of <br />the deductions. The Employer shall supply the Association <br />with a list of those Employees for whom deduction has <br />been made._ <br />4.4 The Association agrees to hold the Employer harmless from <br />any and all liabilities and damages which may arise from <br />the performance of its, the Employer's obligations under <br />this article and the Association shall indemnify the <br />Employer for any such liabilities or damages that do arise. <br />ARTICLE V <br />NONDISCRIMINATION <br />5.1 The parties to this Agreement agree to continue their <br />policy of non-discrimination as required by applicable <br />law based on sPx, race, creed, disability, national origin <br />or abp, x:-egarding employment, referral for employment, <br />employment advancement, working condition, rates of pay, <br />acceptance into Association membership or selection for <br />apprentice openings. <br />5.2 The Employer and the Association recognize the right of <br />all Employees to be free to join the Association, should <br />they so desire, and to participate in lawful Association <br />activities. The Employer and the Association agree that <br />there shall be no discrimination by the Employer or the <br />Association against any Employee because of Association <br />membership or non-membership. <br />ARTICLE VI <br />RULES, REGULATIONS AND ORDERS <br />The Association agrees that its members shall comply with <br />all Fire Department rules, regulations and orders, including <br />those relating to conduct and work performance. <br />ARTICLE VII <br />GRIEVANCE PROCEDURE <br />7.1 Every Employee shall ha <br />in accordance with the <br />from any interference, <br />or reprisal.
