E UAL IIKPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY <br />(1) The Director shall be responsible for maintaining any and all <br />records with respect to the compliance by all departments <br />regarding both emplopment and contracts with the City of North <br />Olmsted with equal employment opportunitp requirements of both <br />the State and Federal Goverment. <br />c. AFFIRMATIVE ACTION POLICIES <br />(1) The Director shall be responsible for continually monitoring, <br />revising and enforcing the City's Affirmative Action policies. <br />As such, he shall be considered to be the Affirmative Action <br />Coordinator of the City and will carry out all of the policies <br />established therein. <br />d. INSURANCE <br />(1) The Director shall maintain in his office the master copy of <br />all insurance policies maintained by the City, including but <br />not limited to, fire, casualty, hospitalization, life <br />insurance, as well as other coverages which may from time to <br />time be obtained by the City. <br />(2) The Director shall be responsible for administering the self- <br />insurance portion of all policies obtained by the City which <br />requires the City to pay all losses occurring under a certain <br />deductible amount. In that regard, he shall maintain a file <br />on all potential losses which are reported to the City and <br />shall be responsible for investigating those losses and <br />reporting the same to the insurance carriers of the City. He <br />shall also cooperate with the Law Department for purposes of <br />settling claims against the City that are within the <br />deductible portion of the City's policp. He shall, from time <br />to time, appear in court if necessary to aid the Law <br />Department in defending the City against claims which fall <br />within the deductible portion of the City's insurance <br />policies. <br />e. GRANTS ADMINISTRATOR <br />(1) The Director shall be responsible for the coordination and <br />administration of all grants within the City which are not <br />assigned to other departments. In this regard, the Director <br />shall prepare applications for grants and do all things <br />necessary and proper to file the application and meet the <br />conditions of any grants which are awarded to the City or any
