ARTICLE 21 <br />HOLIDAYS <br />Section 1: Al1 full-time employees shall receive the <br />following paid holidays: <br />New Year's Day <br />President's Day <br />Easter <br />Memorial Day <br />Independence Day <br />Labor Day <br />Thanksgiving Day <br />Veteran's Day <br />Christmas Day <br />Employee's Birthday <br />Employee's Personal Day <br />Good Friday <br />Section 2: All full-time employees shall be entitled to the <br />holidays listed in Section 1 during the year and shall not be <br />required to work on these holidays, unless scheduled to work <br />by the Chief of Police. In the event the employee either <br />works or was not scheduled to work for reasons other than <br />holiday leave on one of the above listed holidays, then the <br />employee shall receive another day off from work to replace <br />the holiday he worked or was not required to work for reasons <br />other than holiday leave. <br />section 3: Each employee_shall.receive:an additional four <br />:?- (4) hours straight-time, pay, if, required to,work.;eight, ;:(8) <br />hours or more on the above . designated<- holidays - (except < for- <br />? Employee's Birthday and "Personal" day), or, receive time off <br />in lieu thereof as approved by the Chief of Police.'" <br />ARTICLE 22 <br />VACATIONS <br />Section 1: Each full-time employee shall earn and be <br />entitled to paid vacation in accordance with the following <br />schedule: <br />Year of Employment <br />Len h of Service Weeks To Be Taken <br />After one (1) year Two (2) Second (2nd) <br />After two (2) years Two (2) Third (3rd) <br />After three (3) years Two (2) Fourth (4th) <br />After four (4) years Two (2) Fifth (5th) <br />After five (5) years Three (3) Sixth (6th) <br />After six (6) years Three (3) Seventh (7th) <br />After seven (7) years Three (3) Eighth (8th) <br />After eight (8) years Three (3) Ninth (9th) <br />After nine (9) years Three (3) Tenth (lOth) <br />After ten (10) years Four (4) Eleventh (iith) <br />16
