ARTICLE 5 <br />MAINTENANCE OF MEMBERSHIP <br />Section 1: Effective upon the signing of this Agreement, any <br />employee of the bargaining unit who is a member of the OPBA. <br />shall remain a member of the OPBA and continue dues deduction <br />to the organization for the duration of this Agreement except <br />that any such employee may withdraw his membership in the <br />OPBA during the period commencing May 30, 1995 and ending <br />June 30, 1995. <br />Section 2: Any employee hired after the signing of this <br />Agreement who becomes a member of the OPBA shall remain a <br />member of the OPBA for the duration of this Agreement except <br />that any such employee may withdraw his membership in the <br />OPBA during the period commencing May 30, 1995 and ending <br />June 30, 1995. <br />Section 3: Any employee who opts to.withdraw.their..,:,. <br />membership from the OPBA pursuant to Section:i and:Section 2 <br />of this Article shall do so by submitting in writing a dated, <br />and signed request to the-Finance Director,and-shall::submit a <br />copy of same to Ohio Patrolmen's Benevolent,Association?by. <br />registered mail. Any employee failing-to,comply with-.the <br />provisions for withdraw set"forth herein, shall be bound=to <br />membership pursuant to any future agreements r?egotiated <br />between the parties. - <br />Section 4: All members of the bargaining unit,-as :identified <br />in Article 2 of _this :Agreement,: .shall,.;either°_ .i) :-maintain .;:;y, <br />the ir memberhip in the.
