. -, <br /> <br />' ., ? .,. <br />21 <br />1305.05 SUPPLEMENTAL STANDARDS <br />The following standards are supplemental to and shall be construed to <br />constitute a part of the One and Two Family Dwelling Code adopted under <br />Section 1305.01: <br />(a) Posting Notice of Application. Immediately upon application for a <br />building permit signed by the-owner or his authorized agent, which <br />application shall be filed with the Building Commissioner on forms <br />furnished by him, the Building Commissioner shall cause to have <br />erected upon the property for which a permit is applied for a sign <br />which shall have a notice thereon as follow:. " A building permit <br />applied for, plans and plat showing the elevation and grading to be <br />as established on file in the office of the Building Commissioner, <br />Citq Hall." Such sign shall remain on the premises for which a <br />permit has been applied for, for a period of ten days after the <br />date of the application for the permit. in all instances in which <br />the proposed construction increases the area or cubic content of a <br />• building, or involves a building covered by a roof, or such <br />application is for original.construction of a roofed structure <br />designed for use as a shelter for person, animals, chattels or <br />property of any kind, or a combination of such uses, or if such <br />construction effects drainage unto or over an adjoining property <br />in any way, the ten day waiting period referred to shall be <br />mandatory. It shall be mandatory that upon making an application <br />for a permit required under the Dwelling Code, other than for <br />electrical work, plumbing work, heating appliances and the <br />installation of any other equipment in a structure governed by <br />such Code, that the plans and specifications shall be filed with <br />the Building Commissioner and remain available for inspection by <br />any person at the office of the Building Commissioner during the <br />ten day waiting period together with a plat of such property for <br />which application for a building permit is requested. Such plat <br />shall show the proposed elevation and grade to be established. Upon <br />the filing of an application for.a permit and during the ten day <br />waiting period referred to, the Building Commissioner or his <br />authorized inspector shall make an inspection of the property to be <br />improved and determine the elevation and grade requested to be <br />established on the premises involved will not be injurious to <br />adjoining property. Any property owner or person who has reason to <br />believe that the proposed elevation and grade may be hazardous or .•`-` <br />injurious by virtue of a proposed change in elevation or grade, or <br />in the construction contemplated by the application for a building <br />permit, may file objections with the Board of Building Code Appeals. <br />The Board, shall, upon receipt of such protest, notify the applicant <br />and the objector of the date for a hearing before the Board on such <br />objections which shall not be more than two weeks after the filing <br />of such written protest. <br />'r <br />.r
