<br />y? <br />ARTICLE 1: PURPOSE <br />Section 1: This Agreement is made between the City of North <br />Olmsted, hereinafter referred to as the "City", and Ohio Council <br />8 and Local No. 2681 of theā¢American Federation of State, County, <br />and Municipal Employees, AFL-CIO, hereinafter referred to as the <br />"Union". The male pronoun or adjective used herein refers to the <br />? <br />female also unless otherwise indicated. The term "employee" or <br />Nemployees" where used herein refers to all employees in the <br />bargaining unit. The purpose of this Agreement is to provide a <br />fair and responsible method of enablinq employees covered by this <br />Agreement to participate through Union representation in the <br />establishment of terms and conditions and of their employment, <br />including rates of pay, waqes, hours and workinq conditions, and <br />to establish a peaceful procedure for the resolution of all <br />differences between the parties. <br />ARTICLE 2: RECOGNITION <br />Section 1: The Union is recognized as the sole and <br />exclusive representative for the duration of this Agreement for <br />the employees in the job classifications listed in Exhibits B <br />t <br />1
