BOYLE <br />AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE NECESSITY AND <br />INTENTION OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO, <br />TO APPROPRIATE CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN THE <br />CITY FOR THE PURPOSE OF BUILDING A NEW FIRE <br />STATION. <br />general public; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted intends to build a fire station within the City <br />to be located on property currently listed as 24291 Lorain Road, North Olmsted, Ohio <br />44070 Permanent Parcel 237-4-2, in order to better provide for the safety and welfare of the <br />WHEREAS, it is a public necessity to build the aforementioned fire station due to the <br />fact that the City's fire-fighting needs have outgrown its cunent facilities; and <br />WHEREAS, in order to build this fire station it will be necessary for the City of <br />North Olmsted to acquire fee simple title in the aforementioned land; and <br />WHEREAS, negotiations between the duly authorized representatives of the City and <br />the owners of the real property described in this resolution have failed to result in any <br />agreement for the purchase of the real estate for reasonable compensation acceptable to the <br />City and those property owners. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THIS CITY CDUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO. <br />SECTION 1: This Council deems it necessary and declares its intention to <br />appropriate for the purpose of building a new fire station the fee simple interest in and to the <br />following premises: <br />Permanent Parcel Number 237-4-2, located at 24291 Lorain Road, situated in <br />the City of North Olmsted, County of Cuyahoga, State of Ohio, and known as <br />being part of an original Dover Township Lot No. 19, bounded and described <br />as follows:
