ARTICLE XXII CLOTHING/CLEANING ALLOWANCE Section 22.01. Bus Operator clothing/cleaning allowance: Effective January, 1992, the Employer will pay $375.00 annually. Effective January, 1993, the Employer wi71 pay $425.00 annually. Effective January, 1994, the Employer will pay $450.00 annually. This payment to full-time bus operators and dispatchers will be paid one-half (z) in the month of January and one-half (%2) in the month of July. Enployees receiving a clothing/cleaning allowance will be subject to the uniform dress code regulations published by the Enployer. Section 22.02. Effective January l, 1990, the Employer shall furnish a clean uniform to full-time mechanics, material handlers, equipment servicers, and hostlers on the basis of four (4) times per work week. ARTICLE XXIII VACATION Section 23.01. Vacation time is earned ba.sed upon time worked in the current year. It will normally be taken on or after January lst of the following year. Fmployees must have completed twelve (12) months of full- time employment prior to being eligible for any vacation time. Section 23.02. All full-time eqnployees of the Transit Department shall be entitled to vacation time as follows, effective Janua.ry l, 1992: (A) Fu11 time employees who have completed one full year of gnployment are entitled to two weeks vacation; arid said vacation shall be taken during the second year of enployment. (B) Full time employees who have completed two full years of employment are entitled to two weeks vacation; sa,id vacation shall be taken during the third year of employment. (C) Fta.ll time employees who ha.ve completed three full years of employment are entitled to two weeks vacation; said vacation sha.ll be taken during the fourth year of er?ployment. (D) Full time employees who have completed four full years of employment are entitled to two weeks vacation; sa,id vacation shall be taken during the fifth year of employment. (E) Full time employees who ha,ve completed five full years of employment are entitled to three weeks vacation; said vacation shall be taken during the sixth year of anployment. (F) Full time employees who have completed six full years of employment are entitled to three weeks vacation; said vacation shall be taken during the seventh year of employment. (G) Fu11 time employees who have completed seven full years of employment are entitled to three weeks vacation; said vacation sha.ll be taken during the eighth year of elnployment. (H) Full time employees who have completed eight full years of employment are entitled to three weeks vacation; said vacation shall be taken during the ninth year of employment. (I) Full time employees who have completed nine full years of employment are entitled to three weeks vacation; said vacation shall be taken during the tenth year of employment. -17-
