ARTICLE XXII <br />CLOTHING/CLEANING ALLOWANCE <br />Section 22.01. Bus Operator clothing/cleaning allowance: <br />Effective January, 1992, the Employer will pay $375.00 annually. <br />Effective January, 1993, the Employer wi71 pay $425.00 annually. <br />Effective January, 1994, the Employer will pay $450.00 annually. <br />This payment to full-time bus operators and dispatchers will be paid <br />one-half (z) in the month of January and one-half (%2) in the month of July. <br />Enployees receiving a clothing/cleaning allowance will be subject to the <br />uniform dress code regulations published by the Enployer. <br />Section 22.02. Effective January l, 1990, the Employer shall furnish a <br />clean uniform to full-time mechanics, material handlers, equipment <br />servicers, and hostlers on the basis of four (4) times per work week. <br />ARTICLE XXIII <br />VACATION <br />Section 23.01. Vacation time is earned ba.sed upon time worked in the <br />current year. It will normally be taken on or after January lst of the <br />following year. Fmployees must have completed twelve (12) months of full- <br />time employment prior to being eligible for any vacation time. <br />Section 23.02. All full-time eqnployees of the Transit Department shall <br />be entitled to vacation time as follows, effective Janua.ry l, 1992: <br />(A) Fu11 time employees who have completed one full year of gnployment <br />are entitled to two weeks vacation; arid said vacation shall be <br />taken during the second year of enployment. <br />(B) Full time employees who have completed two full years of employment <br />are entitled to two weeks vacation; sa,id vacation shall be taken <br />during the third year of employment. <br />(C) Fta.ll time employees who ha.ve completed three full years of <br />employment are entitled to two weeks vacation; said vacation sha.ll <br />be taken during the fourth year of er?ployment. <br />(D) Full time employees who have completed four full years of <br />employment are entitled to two weeks vacation; sa,id vacation shall <br />be taken during the fifth year of employment. <br />(E) Full time employees who ha,ve completed five full years of <br />employment are entitled to three weeks vacation; said vacation <br />shall be taken during the sixth year of anployment. <br />(F) Full time employees who have completed six full years of employment <br />are entitled to three weeks vacation; said vacation shall be taken <br />during the seventh year of employment. <br />(G) Fu11 time employees who have completed seven full years of <br />employment are entitled to three weeks vacation; said vacation <br />sha.ll be taken during the eighth year of elnployment. <br />(H) Full time employees who have completed eight full years of <br />employment are entitled to three weeks vacation; said vacation <br />shall be taken during the ninth year of employment. <br />(I) Full time employees who have completed nine full years of <br />employment are entitled to three weeks vacation; said vacation <br />shall be taken during the tenth year of employment. <br />-17-
