Protective glasses, goggles, or face shields must be used within <br />their design limitations. <br />? b. The potential hazard will determine the type of protection to be <br />worn. <br />H. PRCS Rescue <br />1. For emergency confined space rescue dia1911 and specifically request that <br />t a confined space rescue is needed. <br />? 2. Non-Entry Rescue Requirements <br />Best rescue is non-entry rescue, remove person from confined space using <br />winch and tripod or other mechanical device. <br />Systems or methods to provide non-entry rescue must be in place during <br />all PRCS entries, unless the entry supervisor determines that such systems <br />would increase risks to entrants. <br />a. Each entrant must wear a chest or full body harness, with a lifeline <br />attached to a"D" ring located at the center of the entrant's back <br />of above the entrant's head. <br />b. The other end of the lifeline shall be attached to a mechanical <br />device (such as a winch) or fixed point outside the PRCS to begin <br />immediate rescue. <br />Mechanical devices are required for entry into vertical permit <br />spaces more than 5 feet deep. <br />c. Each team member shall have received basic first aid and CPR <br />training in the past. One of the members must be currently <br />certified and available. <br />7 <br />? <br />? <br />?
