, <br />. <br />. . ?, :,. <br />3. Pre-Design Services: <br /> <br />a. Coordination of owner-supplied data, including Engineering Department <br />requirements. <br />b. Presentation to the City of preliminary budget and schedule for review. <br />4. Draft? Services: <br />a. Prepare plan and detail sheets at appropriate scales on 24" x 36" sheets. All <br />survey points are to be included on the drawing. Show all storm and sanitary <br />utilities in plan and profile. <br />b. All lettering on the plan and detail sheets is to be done with drafting standards <br />acceptable to the City. <br />c. All final plans will be reviewed by the City. Submit two (2) interim copies of <br />the plan sheets for review. <br />5. Detailed Deign Document ervices: <br />a. Preparation of design drawings and specifications for use in bidding and <br />construction. The specifications shall be incorporated into a Project Manual <br />which shall also include the advertisement, instruction to bidders, general <br />conditions, bid forms, Bond Requirements, Prevailing Wage Rates, Affidavits, <br />and other miscellaneous forms required for a bidding document. Final plans <br />and specifications sha11 incorporate all changes required in review of <br />preliminary or intermediate plans. <br />b. Work shall be coordinated with utility companies as necessary. <br />c. Fifteen (15) sets of plans and Project Manuals shall be furnished to the City <br />for bidding purposes. Additional sets shall be provided, if required, at cost. <br />d. An opinion of probable costs for the project, broken down into major <br />components, shall be submitted prior to bidding. <br />e. The Engineer or his representative shall be available to answer questions <br />regarding plan intent during bidding and construction and shall assist the City <br />in the evaluation of all bids received. <br />_w.,, 11 . - .? -. . .Nr. - 11_
