' • ?°?' ,,? <br />. ?, . <br />ATTACHMENT °B" <br />The Architect services for design and construction documents includes the <br />following clarifications related to the Site Improvement requirements stated in <br />Attachment uA": <br />1. Pavement for the existing parking areas includes removal of asphalt <br />pavement in the southern third of the parking lot, regrading existing <br />aggregate to slope to new catch basins, replacement of aggregate base <br />where existing depth is inadequate, placement of additional aggregate over <br />existing base, concrete islands between facing rows of parking and painted <br />lines for parking stalls. Existing aggregate depth will be verified in <br />the field. <br />2. The 54 foot by 260 foot cart storage area on the East end of the parking <br />lot will also receive asphalt pavement and storm drainage. <br />3. The existing 16 inch north-south storm sewer near the east end of the <br />parking lot will be maintained or replaced or tied into the new storm <br />sewer. The new storm system will drain into the existing lake east of the <br />main Ballroom Building. The culvert along Canterbury Road will be <br />replaced. <br />4. The alternate bid for the north expansion of the parking lot will include <br />earthwork, storm sewer system, aggregate base, asphalt pavement, concrete <br />island, perimeter curbing, pole lighting, landscaping, irrigation system <br />along Canterbury Road and paintetl lines for parking stalls. <br />5. The ground sign is based on aluminum letters mounted on a new brick wall <br />with ground set lighting of the letters. <br />6. The parking lot lighting will be on new poles with wiring connected to the <br />main electrical distribution center on the west basement wall of the <br />Ballroom Building. Photocells will be used for security lights and a time <br />clock will control all other light fixtures. The existing light pole at <br />the north side of the present parking lot will be removed. <br />7. The irrigation system along Canterbury Road will be fed from the existing <br />golf course system or a new service from the city water main. <br />Clarifications related to Builtling Improvements stated in Attachement "A" are: <br />1. A ramp for the disabled and deliveries to the kitchen will be installed <br />north of the present Ballroom Entrance. The ramp will split at the west <br />exterior wall of the buildirig and have ramps going north to enter the new <br />Toilet Room area and south to enter the kitchen door. The Entrance Foyer <br />roof will be modified to allow head room at a new entrance door to the <br />Toilet Room area. A roof over the ramp may be desirable but is not <br />included in the base fee - see paragraph on Supplementary Services. <br />Page 1 <br />
