Bohlmann, Service Director <br />City of North Olmsted <br />5200 Dover Center Road <br />North Olmsted, Ohio 44070 <br />Re: Request for Proposal <br />Parking Lot and ADA Improvements <br />Springvale Country Club <br />GSR Proposal No. 95-37 <br />Dear Mr. Bohlmann, <br />In response to the above request, The George S. Rider Company proposes to furnish <br />the professional engineering and architectural services specified in your letter <br />dated November 1, 1995 and based on a visit to the site. Discussions were held <br />with William Scheeff and William Prest and preliminary design drawings were <br />reviewed. <br />Our services for design and construction documents will include the following <br />clarifications related to the Site Improvement requirements stated in your RFP <br />letter: <br />1. Pavement for the existing parking areas includes removal of asphalt pavement <br />in the southern third of the parking lot, regrading existing aggregate to slope <br />to new catch basins, reglacement of aggregate base where existing depth is <br />inadequate, placement of additional aggregate over existing base, concrete <br />islands between facing rows of parking and painted lines for parking stalls. <br />Existing aggregate depth will be verified in the field. <br />2. The 54 foot by 260 foot cart storage area on the East end of the parking lot <br />will also receive asphalt pavement and storm drainage. <br />3. The existing 16 inch north-south storm sewer near the east end of the parking <br />lot will be maintained or replaced or tied into the new storm sewer. The new <br />storm system will drain into the existing lake east of the main Ballroom <br />Building. The culvert along Canterbury Road will be replaced. <br />4. The alternate bid for the north expansion of the parking lot will include <br />earthwork, storm sewer system, aggregate base, asphalt pavement, concrete <br />The George S.
