SECTION 8: Life Insurance <br />a. After one (1) month of full-time employment, salaried employees shall be <br />covered by a twenty thousand dollar ($20,000) group term life and AD&D policy at <br />employer's expense. <br />b. To the extent permitted by the insurance provider's rules, employees may <br />purchase additional life insurance, which shall be deducted from paychecks once a month. <br />a To the extent permitted by the insurance provider's rules, employees may <br />convert to individual policy upon termination of employment or retirement. <br />SECTION 9: Health Insurance <br />The employer shall provide either individual or family medical insurance coverage, <br />at the employees option for each full-time salaried employee. Effective January 1, 1996; <br />health care benefits for salaried employees shall be governed by City of North Olmsted <br />Ordinance No. 95-88 and any revisions to this ordinance. <br />SECTION 10: Sick Leave, Jury Duty. Funeral Leave, Parental Leave, <br />Probationary Period, and Payment of Accumulative Sick Leave Credit. <br />These benefits shall be governed by City of North Olmsted Ordinance No. 93-26 <br />and 95-130 and any revisions thereof. <br />SECTION 11: Incentive Dav <br />All full-time salaried employees shall receive one (1), eight (8) hour day offwith <br />pay or may elect to be paid for one (1), eight (8) hour day, for each six (6) months of <br />unused sick leave. <br />SECTION 12: <br />That Ordinance No. 95-47 be specifically repealed and any other Ord.iuances or <br />parts of Ordinances in conflict are hereby repealed. <br />5
