HEC-2 water surface profiles will be made for the channel for approximately 1,000 feet <br />downstream of the 72 inch pipe oudet. <br />6. Preparation of a preliminary plan depicting existing surface features, utilities, and the <br />recommended horizontal and vertical alignment of the proposed storm relief sewer and <br />channel imprdvements for City Engineering's review and approval. Will also prepare a <br />preliminary cost estimate for the proposed improvements. <br />7. Preparation of easements required for the construction, operadon and maintenance of the <br />relief storm sewer, including temporary easements. <br />8. Preparation of final plans including construction details and specifications. Completed <br />contract documents and cost estimate will be submittsd to City Engineering for review and <br />approval. 9. Submittal of the plans to the utility companies affected by the improvement for review and <br />approval. <br />10. Fifteen (15) sets of die contract documents for bidding purposes will be submitted ta the <br />City. <br />11. Answer questions during bidding and construction. Assist the City in the evaluation of all <br />bids received. <br />Compensation for the above basic services shall be based on actual hours expended and appropriate <br />hourly rates with a maximum total amount not to exceed of Thirty Thousand Seven Hundred Eighty <br />Dollars ($30,780.00) for the design of the facility and 'I?vo Thousand Five Hundred Seventy-Six <br />Dollars ($2,576.00) for preparation of easements. Our 1996 Rate Schedule is attached hereto. <br />Supplementary services not included in die basic services are as follows: <br />1. Studies and/or detailed investigation of alternate routes for the proposed relief sewer. <br />2. Preparing for and/or attending public meetings. <br />3. Soil borings or pavement cores. <br />4. Assist in the acquisition of any easements. <br />At your request, a proposal and Wtal cost not to be exceeded will be determined for any of the <br />supplementary services, utilizing the attached Rate Schedule.
