KORDES, E.I.T. <br />EDUCATION: <br />B.S., Civil Engineering, 1992 <br />Pennsylvania State University <br />PROJECT ASSIGNMENT: Construction Inspector <br />EXPERIENCE: <br />Mr. Kordes has been actively involved in the design and construction of various site development <br />and highway projects throughout the State of Ohio. Besides being familiar with the <br />requirements of various agencies, he has coordinated the work with numerous utility owners and <br />public agencies having jurisdiction over the design work. <br />Some of the projects Mr. Kordes has contributed to include: <br />° Construction Administration, Cleveland State University Physical Education <br />Facilities. The project includes the construction of tennis courts, one softball field, <br />repairs to a soccer practice field, and streetscape improvements at various <br />locations. Mr. Kordes duties include daily on-site observation, review and <br />processing of Change Orders and Pay Requests, development of punch lists and <br />project closeout inspections. He also holds weekly progress meetings and <br />facilitates coordination of work between the Prime General Contractor, the Prime <br />Electrical Contractor, and other contractors working on adjoining projects. <br />° Design Engineer, Improvements of Mill Road, Porter Road, Dover Center Road <br />and Lorain Road in the City of North Olmsted, Ohio. Prepared construction plans <br />for a new three-lane concrete pavement in Mill Road and the addition of new <br />turning lanes in Porter Road, Dover Center Road and Lorain Road. Work included <br />the design of a relocated water line and a new storm sewers, and coordination with <br />electric, telephone and gas utility owners. <br />° Project Manager, Site Development for the New Middle School in Olmsted <br />Township, Ohio. The work included the development of storm water detention <br />basins with outlet control and storm water pollution prevention plans for this 50 <br />acre site in a rapidly developing suburban area. Permits were obtained from the <br />Cuyahoga County Sanitary Engineer.
