EDUCATION: <br />B.S., Civil Engineering, 1967 <br />PROJECT ASSIGNMENT: Construction Inspector <br />EXPERIENCE: <br />Mr. Patel has performed construction inspection of bridges, highways, water lines, sewer lines, <br />office buildings, parking lots, cemetery development, maintenance garages and site work. His <br />duties have included review of shop drawings; contractor's progress reports; payment <br />schedules; construction schedules; meetings; change orders and contractor's work performance <br />in accordance with the plans, specifications, and special provisions. <br />Mr. Patel has performed inspection services on the following projects: <br />° Ohio Turnpike Commission: Bridge over Conrail at Toledo, State Route 254 <br />Bridge at Toledo, Black Road Bridge, Brandywine Road Bridge in Summit County. <br />Work included deck replacements an substructure rehabilitation. <br />° City of Cleveland Port Authority: Reconstruction of north concourse at Cleveland <br />Hopkins International Airport, with new concrete pavement, storm sewers and <br />utilities. Strict safety requirements needed to be observed during construction <br />because of on-going plan traffic and other airport activities. <br />° Allegheny County, Pennsylvania: Bridge replacements at Lowries Run, Sandy <br />Creek, and Big Sewickley Creek. <br />Mr. Patel has also been responsible for the preparation of plans and specifications for civil <br />engineering design such as sewers, water lines and other utilities, paving, grading, site work, <br />quantity take-offs and cost estimates. His design experience includes projects for the Ohio <br />Department of Transportation such as the rehabilitation of Interstate 90, Cleveland Urban Area, <br />five mile section from W. 160th Street to W. 44th Street; slope restoration, erosion control, <br />drainage improvements and landscaping of Interstate 480, Cleveland Urban Area, 17-mile <br />section from Rocky River to Valley View.
