WH?CREA5, Council i.n the enactmsnt of Qrdinance 3158 deemed it advisable to separatel,g adopt legislation fixing the general sipeci.fications for the construction and la,ying of aI1 building sanitary sewera and connections, and fixing standards therefor, rather than providing for such general specifiea- tions and standards in tha ordinance regulating the uae of public and private sewera for the discharge of waters and wastes in the publ3.c sewage system,, permitting thereby mimeographed copiea to be mc?re rsadily available to all bui,lders.. contractors' plimbers., sewer contractors., so that a more eff3.aient general installati.on of aZl building sewers and connectivns could be effected in permit-Ging easier irispection of same. Size and S1ope The size and slope of the building sewer sha].l be subject to the approval of the Service Director.,but in no event shall the diameter be less than six (b) i.nahes.
