<br />Qrdinance No. <br />Page Four <br />Fa21 ti.me employees of the Fire Department having completed five years of <br />canti.nuaas service as a fu11 time employee of said depaxtment and onl.y af'ter assumz.rig <br />full time esnployment in said depaxtmentt shall be paid an adclitic3nal one percent of <br />their base annual salary thereafter until completian of the lOth year of continuous <br />service as a fu11 time smployee in saa.d department, when such employee sha11 receive <br />three pereent of his base annusl salary per annum thereafter until the completion of <br />his 15th year of continuous servi.ce i.n saa.d depaxtment as a ftrll time employee, and <br />thereafter shall reeeive faur pexcent additional increment to his base annual sa1a,ry <br />per annum thereafter vntil the completion of his 20th year of eontinuaus service in <br />said department as a fuZl time esnployee and upon the completion of saa.d 20th yeax af <br />said continuous ssrvice in said department as a ftiill time employee and duxin.g each <br />year of full time employment thereafter, gha,ll receive an additional five percent of <br />his base annual salary per annum, as a 1ongevity increment. In computi.n.g length of <br />service Yor the purpose of making payments in the manner hereinabove set forth a$ <br />longevity increments, no eredit shal.l be g:iven to an employee for eervice as a part- <br />time employee of either the Police Department or the Fire Departcnent.
