<br />"Section 2s That beginning June 15t 1960, the base salaxies of the members
<br />of the Fire Departmerit are hereby fixed and determined to be as followss
<br />Fire Chief $6,956•40 lnnually
<br />Assistant Ghief of Fire Department 69536.16 "

<br />which salaries ahall be pa,yable by the Auditor as of June 30, 1960, as follows:
<br />Fire ehief $296.92; lssiataxit Chief $278.98; Lieutenauts $261.01; Firemen First
<br />Class $221.57; Firemen Second Class $231.81; and Firemen Third Class $249•95, and
<br />that the rate of pay for said employees shall thereafter be at the base rate as
<br />hereinbefore indicated, payable sem.i.-monthly.
<br />Fcill time employees of the Fire Department having completed 12 yeaxs of
<br />continuous $ervice as a full time employes, and o7sly after assuming full time employmen
<br />shall be paid an additional two percent af their base annual salaxy peranzi.um therea£tex
<br />until the completion of their 20th year of cantinuous service in said depaxtment as a
<br />full time employse; those employees having continuous full time service in excess of
<br />20 yeaxs until the completion of their 25th year shall be paid an additional three
<br />percent af their base annual sa.laxy; and those employees i.n said department ha.ving
<br />completed more than 25 yeaxs of conti.nuous full time service ahall receive an additian€
<br />four percent of their base annual salary per annum thereafter. In computing length
<br />of servicse for the puz^pose of making payments in the manner hereinabove set fnrth for
<br />longevity, no credit shall be given for service as n, paxt time employee of either the
<br />Fire Department or Police Depaxtment. Such limitation is only to apply far the pur:posE
<br />of computing longevity bonuses, and such exclusicra for part time service in either of
<br />the Safety Departments aha,l.l not restrict such paxt time service for any other benefit
<br />so allowed such part ti.me service for employees in the Safety Departments allowed by
<br />other ordinances of the city or in the Firemen Relief and Pension Fund.
<br />In addition to their regular salary, all reg^alar members of the Fa.re Depaxtmcnt,
<br />including officers, sha1.1 duxing each calendar yeaa^ receive a clothing a,llowance of
<br />$100.00, to be cietezmined and digbursed by and with the approval of the Fire Chi.ef.
