page 7. <br />Ru1e 52. - Members of the Department shall not permit persons not members <br />of this Department to ride in any department vehicle, unless such persons <br />are under their jurisdictzon or control pertaining to business. <br />Rule 53. - Any member of the Fire Department who makes a false report to <br />the Fire Department, knowing the same to be false, or any member of this <br />Fire Department who knowingly aids or abets another in making such false <br />report sha?1 be subject to charges under these rules. <br />Ru1e 54. - The following shall be deemed specific cause for suspension <br />under charges of any member of the Fire Department: <br />Art. 1- For drinking any intoxicating liquor while on duty, or becoming <br />intoxicated, whether on or off duty. <br />Art. 2- For drinking any kind of intoxicating liquor or engaging in any <br />- game whatever in any public place while in uniform. All memb-rs who have <br />either uniferm, cap, coat or overcoat on, will be considered in uniform. <br />Art. 3 - For being a user of intoxicating liquor to excess. <br />Art. 4 - For being engaged, either directly or indirectly, as a vendor <br />of intoxicating liquor. <br />Art. 5 - For wilZful disobed ience of any order lawfully issued to him <br />by a superior officer in the Department. <br />Art. 6 - For incompetency to perform the duties of his office. <br />Art. 7- For conviction of any crime or misdemeanor aga.inst the laws <br />of the United States or the laws of the State cf Ohio or for conviction <br />of any violation of a lawful ordinance of the City of North Olmsted. <br />Art. 8- For making known to any person not a member of the Department, <br />any proposed action, disclosure of which might interfere with the duties <br />of the Department. <br />krt. 9- For cowardice or lack of energy of such character as to amount <br />either to incompetency or to gross neglect of duty. <br />Art. 10 - For willfully or continually violating any of the rules or <br />regulations of the Department. <br />Art. 11 - For indecent, profane or harsh language while on duty or in <br />uniform. <br />Art. 12 - For disrespect shown to a superior officer in the Depa-rtment. <br />Arta 13 - For neglect of duty. <br />Art. 14 - For absence without leave. <br />Art. 15 - For gossiping about the affairs of the Department. <br /> <br />
