` Jail is not available. In consideration whereof, while finis Contract continues, <br />the said first party shall pay to the Board of County Commissioners of Cuyahoga <br />' County for the housing and safe keeping of said prisoner and his care, main- <br />tenance and feeding at the rate of Four Dollars and twenty five cents ($x.25) <br />per day for each day he remains in said Jail. <br />IT IS FURTHER AGREED that the party of the first part shall pay to <br />the party of the second part the cost at the rate indicated for the keeping <br />of prisoners at the expiration of each month upon the presentation of <br />properly itemized bills. It is agreed that the number of days to be charged <br />for each prisoner so committed to said Jail by the authorities of said munici-~ <br />pality shall be determined by taking a census of such pz~.soners each twenty- <br />four hours at the hour of midnight, and that the said municipality shall pay <br />the rate per day multiplied by the number of its prisoners in such Jail at each <br />such census hour.
