WHEREAS, a Citizen's Committee was heretofore appointed by the Mayor consisting of representatives of this Council, the I'lanni Commis- sion and citizens,•for the purpose of•studying Articles II and ~I of Ordinance No. 2445, passed March 19th, 1957, aril approved by the electors' of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, at the general election, November 5th, 195?, and WHEREAS., said~Citizents Committee have recommended to this Council certain changes, additions or deletions to Articles SCI and XII of the Zpning Qrdinanee with reference to ntlse Flegulations for Limited Industrial Districts"'and "Height and Area Regulations for Limited Industrial Districtstt, respectively, and WHEREAS, said Committee and Planning Commission have recommended. said changes, additions or•deletions to this Council, and after careful and thorough consideration, this Council believes said amendments would be for the best interests of the City and ;provide a greater protection and control of light industry. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL.QF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, STATE QF OHIO:: . g~actt® •1. -That Articles XI and YII_of Ordinance No. 2445, passed March thf=1957, be amended to read as follows: ARTICLE XI USE REGULATIONS FOR INDUSTRIAL. DISTRICTS: Section _1 -Definition Limited Industrial•District is d®fined as an area in which stara~e, wholesaling,-light manufacturing and other sema.- industrial uses are permitted subject to the limitations and provisions of this article. Section 2 - Permitted Buildings & Uses Within any Limited Industrial District no•buildings or premises shall hereafter be erected, altered, used, arranged or designed to be used in whole or in Part for other than one or more of the following specified uses: {1} All business uses permitted in Business Districts {exclud- ing any residential uses}. _ {2} Carpet, dry-cleaning or dye ing plants. t3} Laundries employing any number of persons.
