(b) Furnace (Space Heating):, Plumbing Supply, Blacksmith,
<br />Woodworking and Monument Shops.
<br />(7) Food products, confection manufacture.
<br />($} Garment Manufacture.
<br />(9} Pharmaceutical manufacture.
<br />(10) Newspaper, magazine and book plants.
<br />(11) Painting or varnishing of products made on the premises.
<br />(12} Any manufacturing or industrial enterprise, operation or
<br />process, whether making, assembling, repairing, buffing,
<br />finishing; plating, painting,~annealing or brazing; welding,
<br />polishing, tempering, packing, shipping or storing, of a:
<br />character and extent similar to th©se specified above and
<br />providing the building or use complies with the requirements
<br />of Section Three C3 ), relating to the control of cinders,
<br />dust,~fl:ashing, fumes, gases, odors, refuse matter, smoke,
<br />vapor, noise and vibrations.
<br />(13} Bulk storage, or warehouse, for such materials as building
<br />materials; contractorts equipment, cotton, wool, clothing
<br />materials fabrics, feed, furniture, hardware, ice, machinery
<br />metals other than scrap or junk, paint, pipe, rubber, shop:
<br />and store supplies, and provided there shall be no storage
<br />of salvaged lumber~or other used building materials junk,
<br />paper, glass, rags, robber or other discarded or sa~.vaged~~
<br />articles or materials, either in buildings or on premises,
<br />and also provided that the storage be within an area en-
<br />closed by a. fence or building which complies with the re-
<br />quirements set forth in Section Three t3}.
<br />(11~}. Uses not specifically stated in Items 1 thru 11 above shall
<br />be permitted only after public hearing which has been adver-
<br />tised for 30 days. Following said hearing the Planning
<br />Commission will rule on the proposed use by announcing
<br />publicly its decision at a regularly scheduled Planning
<br />Commission Meetin g.
<br />Section 3 - Limitations
<br />(1) Around the perimeter of every Limited Industrial District there
<br />shall be a strip fifty (.50} feet wide herein defined as a
<br />buffer. strip which shall not be used for any purpose except
<br />herein het forth and within which no structures shall be
<br />erected. Suitable plantings to conform to the City's master
<br />tree plan shall be made within the buffer strip which gill
<br />adequately separate and shield. said Limited Industrial Dis-"
<br />trict from persons using property adjacent to said district.
<br />(2} A1.1 smoke, dust, fumes, gases, odors, cinders, refuse matter,
<br />flashing and vapor resulting from a use in a Limited Indus-
<br />trial District shall be effectively confined to the premises
<br />in such fashion that they do not create a nuisa.nee or ha~,ard
<br />to safety or health. Refuse and other materials shall be
<br />removed in such fashion that such removal does not create a
<br />nuisance or hazard to safety or health.
<br />t3) No .noise and vibrations resulting from a use in a Limited..
<br />Industrial District shall be audible or perceptible outside
<br />the Limited Industrial District within which they occur.
<br />(~.) A fence, or hedge, trees, or shrubs planted so as to con-
<br />stitute a-fence along side, rear, or within property lines
<br />shall be not less than thirty (30) inches or more than
<br />eight (~). feet in height on the portion of the property
<br />extending no nearer to the highway or street line than
<br />the building line. Qrnamental. fences or hedges between
<br />the building line and the street line shall not exceed
