27 Police Department 139.06 <br />(b) Officers and members, having completed ten years of continuous full time employ- <br />ment in the department, shall receive three weeks paid vacation for each year <br />thereafter, until after the completion of the twentieth year of such continuous full <br />time employment as a member of the Police Dep~tment. A member, upon the <br />completion of twenty years of such continuous full time employment as a member <br />of the department, shall be entitled to four weeks paid vacation for each year <br />thereafter. <br />(c) No officer or member of the department shall be given credit, in computing the <br />vacation period to which he is entitled as a member of the Police Department, for <br />any service which he may have rendered as a part time member or full time <br />member of the Fire Department. <br />(d) Officers and full time members of the Polies Department shall make known to the <br />Police Chief his preference for a vacation period, in accordance with the <br />instructions designated by ~ the Chief for assignment of vacation periods, and shall <br />be allowed such vacation periods as determined by the Police Chief. <br />(Ord. 3059. Passed 7-5-60. ) <br />~:. <br /> <br />139.04 HOLIDAYS. <br />In addition to the established vacation with pay received each year, all regular <br />members of the Police Department of the City, including officers, shall during each calendar <br />year receive six days off duty with pay. The scheduling of such days off duty shall be <br />determined by and with the approval of the Chief of Police. <br />(Ord. 2047. Passed 9-23-54. ) <br />139.05 COPIES OF REPORTS; CHARGES. <br />The Police Department is authorized to make duplicate copies of accident reports and <br />other proper police material for the use of insurance companies, attorneys or ether proper <br />persons. They shall charge one dollar ($1.00) per reproduction for such service, the <br />proceeds from the sale of such service to be credited to the Police Pension Fund. <br />(Ord. 2591. Passed 11-19-57.) <br />139.06 COPIES OF PHOTOGRAPHS; CHARGES. <br />The Police Department is authorized to use its photographic equipment at proper times <br />to make copies of official police photographic scenes, pictures or material, for the use of <br />insurance companies, attorneys or other proper persons. They shall charge five dollars <br />($5.00) per print for such photographs or material, the proceeds from the sale of which <br />are to be credited to the General Fund of the City. <br />(Ord. 2592.
