ORDINANCE NO. 62 ;~o~ Page In addition to the regular base salary, plus increment and other wage increases, all regular members of the Pire Department, imciudiag officers, shall on their original appointment to the department and Burin the first calendar year during their appointment, receive ~i75.U0 clothing allowance and shall during each calendar year thereafter, receive a clothing allowance of $15D.a0 to be deter~ained aed disbursed by and with the approval of the Pire Chief of the Department. Section 3s That this trdnance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of then public peace, health, safety and welfare of the City by virtue of the immediate necessity of making adjustments in the salaries of the members of the safety department by July 15, 19b2, as rer~uired by the negotiations of the representative: of said department and the Council; WHBR~PORE, this Ordinance shall tabs effect and be in force immediately upon its passage, otherwise, at the earlieffit period allowed by law.
