1225.04 Sign~z In A Mixed Use District <br />Signs in a Mixed Use District shall conform to that section <br />of this Chapter dependent upon the use made of the premises and, <br />if such premises are unoccupied, then as permitted by Section <br />1225,01. <br />C~iAPTER 1227 -• SUPPLEMENTARY REGULAT TONS <br />1227.01 General Location <br />Any sign shall not project over or obst~-uct the required <br />windows or doors of any building, attached to or obstruct a <br />fire escape or interfere with other safety provisions as may <br />be further regulated in the Building Code. <br />Unless regulated otherwise in the Traffic Code, signs <br />shall not be erected so as to obstruct traffic control lights, <br />signs at street intersections, sight lines within street lines, <br />or signals at railroad grade crossings. <br />1227.02 Prohibited Language <br />Signs visible from the sight lines within street lines <br />shall not contain an arrow or words such as "stop", "got', <br />ttslow", or otherwise resemble highxay traffic signs. <br />1227.03 Tllvminatimn Of Signs <br />Light sources to illuminate signs shall be reflected and <br />shielded and not be of excevsive brightness or cause glare <br />hazardous to pedestrians or auto drivers or be objectionable to <br />adjacent Residential Districts. The colors red or green, either <br />in direct illumination or reflection, shall not be used where it <br />a.<. . <br />may interfere with the sight lines of a traffic signal. Flashing, <br />moving or intermittent illumination and ttoutline lighting" ehall <br />not be permitted by right; the Board may, however, make a <br />finding and permit such lighting as a Conditional Use; if such <br />= 95 ~• <br />
