Ordinance ~ ~ o~"~~-~ By: AN ORDINANCE DIVIDING THE CITY OF NOR'T`H OLMSTED, OHIO, INTO DISTRICTS FOR THE PURPOSE OF REGULATING AND RESTRICTING THE LOCATION OF BUILDINGS AND OTHER STRUCTURES AND OF PREMISES TO BE USED FOR TRADE, I3+IDUSTRY, RESIDENCE OR OTHER SPECIFIED USES: REGULATING AND LIMITING THE HEIGHT OF BUILDINGS AND OTHER STRUCTURES, GULATING THE BULK AND LOCATION OF BUILDINGS AND OTHER STRUC'T"(JRES, THE PERCENTAGE OF LOT OCCUPANCY, SET- BACK BUILDING LINES AND THE AREA OF YARDS, COURTS AND OTHER OPEN SPACES t PROVIDING FOR A METHOD OF AI~IIN ISTRATION : FOR AN ADMINISTRATIVE BOARD: AND FOR THE IMPO3ITTON OF PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION AND REPEALING PREVIOUS ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT THEREWITH. BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, that in the interest of promotion of the public health, safety, convenience, comfort, prosperity and general welfare of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, the following titles, chapters and sections be and the same hereby are enacted into law. PART ELEVEN PLANNING AND ZONING TITLE FIVE ZONING ALMINISTRATION C~EiAPTER 1121 - TITLE AND PURPOSE 1121.01 Title This ordinance shall be known and may be cited as "The Zoning Code", and when the words t'the Zoning Gode'T are used hereafter the s~une shall be deemed to mean the provisions of section 1121.01 to sections 1243.01'~of the code of the City of North Olmsted as presently enacted or hereinafter amended. 1121.02 Pu ose The purpose of the Zoning Code shall be to provide by the provisions hereinafter made for the orderly development of the land within the municipality and to provide in that manner for the public peace, health, safety, convenience, comfort, prosperity and general welfare of its citizens and of the municipality. _. ~„~~~~~4... ~ _ . - ~z~rr ~_2 ,,„., .. ~ .e . ~ ,.
