CHAPTER 1123 M SCOPE AND GENERAL APPLICATION <br />1123.01 Scope <br />The provisions of the Zoning Code, as same may be from <br />~, <br />time to time amended or supplemented, shall apply to use of <br />land within the municipality by the creation of districts <br />defining or limiting the use of land or structures within <br />such districts and by the establishment of regulations for <br />the location of structures, their height, bulk, percentage <br />of lot occupancy and the area of open spaces around any structure, <br />1123.02 Supplement To Other Laws And Ordinances <br />The provisions of the Zoning Cade shall supplement any <br />and all laws of the State of Ohio, ordinances of this municipality <br />or any and all rules and regulations promulgated by authority <br />of such law or ordinance relating to the purpose and scope of <br />the Zoning Code, <br />1123.03 Interpretation ULt~ Conflict <br />In interpreting and applying the provisions of the Zoning <br /> <br />Code, such provisions shall be held to be the minimum require-~ <br />mei~ts for the promotion of public peace, he~.lth, safety and <br />general welfare. Except as specifically provided herein, it is <br />not intended by the Zoning Code to repeal, abrogate or annul <br />any existing provision of any law or ordinance or any rule or <br />regulation previously adopted or issued pursuant to law <br />relating to the construction and use of structures and land; <br />nor is it intended by the Zoning Code to interfere with, abrogate <br />or annul any private easement, covenant, agreement or restriction; <br />provided where the Zoning Code imposes greater restrictions upon <br />size or location of buildings or use of the premises or requires <br />larger lots, yards or other open spaces, than are otherwise <br />required or imposed, the provisions of the Zoning Code shall <br />control. In other cases of conflict between the provisions of <br />the Zoning Code and any law, ordinance, rule, regulation, easement, <br />covenant, agreement or restriction the more restrictive shall <br />govern. <br />„2.. <br /> <br />
