TITLE NINETEEN <br />OFF.•STREET PARKING AND LOADING FACILITIES <br />CHAPTER 1211 .. REQUIRIIwIENT AND INTENT <br />1211.01 Intent <br />Offwstreet parking and off street loading requirements <br />and regulations are established to achieve, among others, the <br />following purposes: <br />(A) To relieve congestion so that the streets <br />can be utilized more fully for movement of <br />traffic; and <br />(B) To promote the safety and convenience of <br />pedestrians by separating parking areas and <br />extensive car movements in the vicinity of <br />pedestrian ways; and <br />(C) To protect 8djoining residential neighborhoods <br />from vehicular traffic congestion; and <br />(D) To promote the general convenience, welfare, <br />and prosperity of residential, business, <br />service and manufacturing developments, which <br />depend upon off.~street parking and offs-street <br />loading facilities. <br />1211.02 Requirement Generally <br />Off-street parking facilities, shall be provided as a <br />condition precedent to occupancy of a residential, institutional, <br />~~:. <br />,;,~. business, service and industrial use, in conformance with the <br />provisions of the Zoning Code. <br />Facilities shall be provided as required by this Code <br />.. 7 0 ti <br />~,......p :lA.`e.~ri~d-r(~.ti _... one >r:?~.<....d.... ~-, .:~-_i ~~.i r,~_~ ~r ~a', tN"k'~:+'~'~, .Far. +1 x. ~ i. <br />
