7/ -/o 'J?' <br />- 2 - <br />(b) For premises supplied, other than by metered public water <br />supply, there shal.l'be charged a flat rate af $10.70 per <br />month provided that for promrpt payment of such billings, <br />when due, by the City of North Olmsted, such rate shall <br />be reduced to $10.50 per month. <br />(c) The rates to be charged to users whose premises are located <br />outside the city limits, other than political subdivisians <br />having special service ecntracts with the City of North <br />r Olmsted, shall be negotiated by the Mayor and/or the Director <br />of Public Sez^vice and approved by Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted.a Any such user shall first obtain the approval <br />? of the Director of Pub13.c Service before making connections <br />to the System and conform ta such reqixirements as may be <br />prescribed in the regula.tions prescribed by such Director. <br />_(d) In the even-t it cen be shown to the satisfaction of the <br />Director of Public Service with respect to any premises <br />that a por-tian of the water derived f'ram metered public <br />water supply consumed on sa3d premises does not and can not <br />enter the System, then in each such case the owner or other <br />„ interested party tnay, at his expense, install such metering <br />devices as to demonstrate to the satisfact3,on of said <br />Director the portion of the water so supplied and consumed <br />on the premises which is discharged into ths System, which <br />portion shall constitute the basis for determi.ning the sewer <br />charge under (a) above. <br />(e) No free service of any kind shall be rendered to any user <br />unlesa it shall be brought to the attention of Council or <br />the Finance Director that the City of Cleveland Water <br />Depaxtment has had an adjustment in the water charge to <br />a consumer, at which ti.me the Finance Directer is hereby <br />authorized to make a,n adjustment in the sewer revenue cha,rge <br />not to exceed $l00.00 per premises serviced by the North <br />Olmsted Sanitary Sewer System." <br />be and the same is hereby amended to read as f oll.ows ; <br />"Section 3. That for the purposesprovided in Section 2 hereof, <br />there is hereby 1.evied and charged upon eaeh ldt, pexcel of l.and or <br />premises having or xequ3.red to have a connection with the System, or <br />otherwi.se discharging sewage, industrial wastes, water or other liquids, <br />either directly or indirectly into the System, sewer charges payable <br />as hereinafter provi,ded and in amounts to be determined as follows; <br />(a) For premi5es supplied by metereii public water supply, the <br />following x^a.tes shall apply to be camputed on the basis of <br />water consumption as measuxed by such water meter, to-wS.t: <br />? (1) Unt31 Ju1.y 31, 1971, $4.75 for the first 1000 cubic <br />feet or any portion thereof of water consumed per <br />quarter, and at the rate of $4.75 per 1000 cubic <br />feet of wa.ter consumed thereafter, but not less <br />than $4.75 Per quarter. <br />_(2) From August l, 1971 to January 31, 1975, $6•95 for <br />the first 1000 cubic feet or any portion thereof of <br />water consumed per quarter, and at the rate of $6.95 <br />per 1000 cubic feet of wa,ter consumed thereafter, <br />but not 7.ess than $6.95 per quarter. <br />,?
