? <br /> <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORLtNANCE NO. 64-dZtZ Page 2 <br />Section 2: That the Director of Public Service be and he <br />is authorized to advertise for bida for the construction of sidewalks in acoordanob <br />with the provisions of Resolution No. 64-151 and 64-153, where such sidewalks <br />have not been constructed by the abuttinq property awners, es shown on hia <br />certificate heretofore filed and in accordance with the plans and specifiaations <br />now on file in the office of the Clerk of Council and the office of the Director <br />or Public Service. <br />Section 3: That thd Mayor be and he is hareby authorized <br />to contract for the conatructfon of the aforeaaid sidewalks after the receipt of <br />bids and the award by the $oard of Control to the lowest nnd best bidder, and the <br />improvement shall be financed ag provided in the Reaolution of Nacessity. <br />Section 4: That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed <br />to deliver a certified copy of this Ordinance to the County Audttor within <br />fifteen (15) days after its passage. <br />Section 5: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, <br />health, safety and welfare by virtue of the need for such $idewalks to permit <br />safe passaqe by persona using such streets and eliminatinq exietinq hazards to <br />pedestrians; WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from <br />and immediately after its passaqe and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: <br />Francis J.
