CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORII NANCE NO. 644Paqe 2 <br />0 <br />4% of their base annual salary until after the completion of the <br />20th year of continuous fu11 time service and during each year of <br />full time service thereafter they shall receive 5% of their base <br />annual salary as lonqevity increments. <br />In computinq length of service for the purpose of makinq payments <br />of the longevity increments_ hereinabove set forth, no credit shall <br />• be qiven for part-time services but such limitation is only for the <br />- purpose of computinq lonqevity inccementa and the exclusion of <br />part-time service shall not deprive any employees of any other <br />benefits which may be due them for part-time service as employees <br />in either Safety Department, <br />In addition to the reqular base salary plus increment and othar waqe <br />increases, all regular employees of the Police Departmant, including <br />officers shall, on their original appointment and durinq the first <br />calendar year during their appointment, receive $175.00 clathing <br />allowance and shall, durinq each calendar year thereafter, receive <br />a clothing allowance of $150.00 to be determined and disbursed <br />by and with the approval of the Police Chief of the Department. <br />For each full time member of the Police Department (excludinq <br />auxiliary police and school quards), the City of North Olmsted <br />shall pay the sum of $7.25 per month toward the total coat of <br />Blue Cross Hospitalization premiums of said members of the <br />Police Force. " <br />be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: ? <br />Section 1: That effective November 1, 1964, t he base salaries <br />,Lae De partme are hereby fixed and determined to be <br />of the members of the P9.1 <br />as follows: , <br />,, <br />0 <br />Chief of Police 7, 80,0. 00 annually <br />?• <br />Lieutenant of Police 7,300.00 annually <br />Serqeants 6,000.00 annually <br />Patrolmen for First Year 5, 500.00 annually <br />Patrolmen for Second Year 5,900.00 annually <br />Patrolmen after Second Year 6,500.00 annually <br />School Guards 1.75 per hour <br />Auxiliary Police 1.75 per hour <br />which salaries shall be payable by the Director of Finance semi-monthly. <br />Any of the above, with the exception of school quards and <br />auxiliary police, shall, while on duty as plain clothes detectives, be <br />paid additional compensation at the rate of $200.00 annually for al <br />time spent as plain clothes detectives. <br />Full time employes of the Police Department havinq completed <br />five years of full time continuous service as employees of said department <br />shall be paid an additional 3% of their base annual salary thereafter until <br />completion of the tenth year of continuous full time seivice, after which' <br />such employees shall receive 4% of their base annual salary thereafter .- " <br />until the completion of the 15th year of continuous full time service, and <br />thereafter 5% of their base annual salary until after the completion of the <br />20th year of continuous full time service and during each year of full time <br />service thereafter they shall receive 6% of their base annual salary as <br />longevity increments.
