4 <br />CITY OF NOEt'I'H OLIvISTED ORDINANCE NO. 64-179 Page 3 <br />Section 373.07 Disposition of Fees Collected <br />The Chief of Police, monthly shall pay over to the Director <br />of Finance all fees received pursuant to the provisions of this <br />ordinance and shall take the Director of Finanr,e's receipt <br />therefor, which shall be kept as a part of the Police Division <br />recoc-d of such regi strations . <br />Section 373.08 ,A-rtactfFneu-v of License i iates <br />(a) At the time of registration the Chief of Police shall furnish <br />? to the applir.ar.t ei durable registration plate bearing the license <br />number assign?d to the bicycle, and the name of the city. He <br />shall also issue a registration card to the applicant reciting that <br />the bicvcle has been reqistered in the name uf the owner. Such <br />registration card shall also recite the expiration date of the <br />license and the serial number of such license. <br />(b) ThP Chief of Police shall direct the owner to attache such <br />license plate to the rear mudguard or frame of the bicycle for <br />which issued in such a position as to be plainly visible from <br />the rear. <br />(c) The Chief of Police shall furnish each registrant with a copy <br />of the ,>>-ovisions of this ordinance and other information as he may <br />deem appropriate. <br />(d) It shall be unlawful to maliciously remove, destroy, mutilate <br />or alter any s- ri il number of any bicycle licensed hereunder, or <br />any license p0a? - or license card issued hereunder. <br />(e) In the event the license plate is lost, defaced or destroyed, <br />the Chi,,_t of Police when satisfied of such fact shall issue a new <br />lic-nse plate upon application of the owner of such hicycle. A <br />replar.ement fee of one dollar shall be authorized. <br />Section 373.09 Licensing Stations Authorized <br />The Chief of Police is hereby authorized to establish stations <br />for the registration of bicycles hereunder as he may deem <br />necessary for the convenience of applicants. <br />Section 373. 10 Renewal of Licenser <br />Upon the expiration of any bicycle license the same may be <br />renewed upon proper application and payment of the authorized <br />fee. <br />Section 373. 11 Transfer of Ownership <br />Upon the sale or other transfer of a licensed bicycle the licensee <br />shall remove the license plate and shall either surrender the same <br />to the Chief of Police or may tipon proper application, but without <br />payment of an additional fee, have said plate assigned to <br />another bicycle owned by applicant.
