Effective January l, 1979, the various salaries shall be fixed as follows: Chief of Police Captains Lieutenants Sergeants Patrolmen - First Year Patrolmen - Second Year Patrolmen - After Second Year School Guards Auxiliary Police Police Matron Full-time Police Officer Working for the City of North Olmsted during off-duty hours Dispatchers (civilian part-time) Dispatchers (civilian full-time) Senior Dispatcher (full-time) C. Any sworn full-time employee shall, Detectives, be paid additional compensation at all time spent as Plainclothes Detectives or a $26,974.00 Annually $23,862.00 Annually $21,693.00 Annually $19,721.00 Annually $15,011.00 Annually $16,400.00 Annually $17,928.00 Annually $ 2.65 Per Hour $2.15 to $2.68 Per Hour $1.35 to $2.64 Per Hour $3.20 to $7.00 Per Hour $3.30 Per Hour $ 6,890.00 Annually $ 7,090.00 Annual1y while on duty as Plainclothes the rate of $400.00 annually for s Juvenile Officers. D. That all full-time sworn employees of the Police Department having completed five (5) years of full-time continuous service, as employees of said Department, shall be paid an additional four percent (4%) of their base annual salary; thereafter until completion of the tenth (lOth) year of full-time continuous service, after which such employee shall receive five percent (5%) of their base annual salary; thereafter until the completion of their fifteenth (15th).year of full-time continuous service, such employee shall get six percent (6%) of their base annual salary until after the completion of the twentieth (20th) year of full-time continuous service, and during each year of full-time service thereafter they shall receive seven percent (7%) of their base annual salary as longevity increments. E. In computing length of service for the purpose of making payments of longevity increments hereinabove set forth, no credit shall be given for part-time service, but such limitation is only for the purpose of computing longevity increments and the exclusion for part-time service shall not deprive any employee of any other benefits which may be due them for part-time service as employees in the Safety Department. F. The secretarial and clerical help of the Police Department of the City of North Olmsted shall receive as longevity increments, the sum of twenty-five dollars ($25.00). This longevity increment shall be payable over and above any annual salary or hourly salary paid secretarial or clerical help, at the rate of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for each and every year said secretary or clerical help has been continually employed by the City of North Olmsted, and said sum shall 6e paid on each anniversary date of employment. G. In addition to the regular base salary, plus increments and other wage increases, full time sworn employees of the Police Department, shall on their original appointment and during the first calendar year thereafter receive a clothing allowance of three hundred dollars ($300.00) to be determined and disbursed by and with the approval of the Police Chief of the Department. H. That effective July 22, 1976, and thereafter, with the exception of secretaries, clerical help and civilian dispatchers, the City of North Olmsted shall pay the full amount for the hospitalization insurance costs of all full-time employees of the North Olmsted Police Department with either Blue Cross and Medical Mutual Hospitalization Plan or the Kaiser Community Health Foundation Plan. Nothing contained herein shall be construed so as to aford said coverage to either Auxiliary Police or School Guards.
