? <br />. ? ? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 78-_,?/_ <br />BY : <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE ORGANIZATIONAL <br />CHART FOR FULL-TIME SECRETARIES AND CLERK <br />ASSISTANTS AND PART-TIME CLERICAL HELP OF ALL <br />DEPARTMENTS FOR THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED AND <br />ESTABLISHING THE COMPENSATION TO BE PAID TO <br />THE EMPLOYEES, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE N0. <br />77-107 ENACTED JULY 5, 1977, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY, AS AMENDED. <br />WHEREAS, Council has adopted Organizational Charts for all <br />employees, both salaried and hourly, of the City of North Olmsted, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Council has adopted the Organizational Charts for <br />the purpose of identification as to duties performed and remuneration <br />received, and <br />WHEREAS, Council has combined the Secretarial and Clerical <br />positions of all previous departments into one ordinance, and <br />WHEREAS, Council agrees that the supervision and work assign- <br />ments of these employees shall continue to be the responsibility of <br />each department head as in the past. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the compensation for Secretaries shall be <br />paid wit in t e range of: <br />$6,020.00 to $11,500.00 Annually <br />$ 2.89 to $ 5.52 Per Hour <br />to be determined by the Department Head in the department where the <br />secretary is employed and the Council of the City of North Olmsted, <br />retroactive to January l, 1978, which salaries shall be payable by <br />the Director of Finance bi-weekly. <br />SECTION 2: That the compensation of Clerical Assistant II <br />shall be paid within the range of: <br />$5, 512. 00 to $9,300..0'0) Annually <br />$ 2.65 to $ 4.21 Per Hour <br />to be determined by the Department Head in the department where the <br />Clerk is employed and the Council of the City of North Olmsted, <br />retroactive to January 1, 1978, which salaries shall be payable by <br />the Director of Finance bi-weekly. <br />SECTION 3: That the compensation for new employees shall be <br />paid at the rate of $5,512.00 annually, unless the employee has <br />previous experience which warrants a higher starting wage. <br />SECTION 4: That all full-time Secretaries and Clerical <br />Assistants s all be paid on a salary basis. These shall be payable <br />by the Finance Director bi-weekly.
