CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE N0. 78-,V_ PAGE 2. SECTION 5: That the Secretarial and clerical help of the City of North Olmsted shall receive, as longevity increments, the sum of $25.00. This longevity increment shall be payable over and above any annual salary paid to Secretary and Clerical help (full-time) at the rate of $25.00 for each and every year said Secretary or Clerical help has been continually employed by the City of North 0lmsted, and said sum shall be paid on each anniversary date of employment. SECTION 6: That the employees shall not be required to work the following olidays, unless requested to work by their supervisor in an emergency: New Year's Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Day; President's Day; the employee's birthday and floating holiday. SECTION 7: That all full-time employees shall be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with the following schedule: 1 to 5 Years inclusive, of full-time service - Two Weeks Vacation. 6 to 11 Years inclusive, of full-time service - Three Weeks Vacation. 12 to 19 Years inclusive, of full-time service - Four Weeks Vacation. 20 Years and over of full-time service - Five Weeks Vacation. SECTION 8: That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby directed to forward a copy of this Ordinance to all Department Heads and the Director of Finance for payment of remuneration, as set forth above, immediately upon its passage. SECTION 9: That all other ordinances of resolutions, or parts of ordinances or resolutions, in conflict herewith to the provisions of this Ordinance, especially Ordinance 77-107 enacted July 5, 1977, are hereby repealed with the effective date of this Ordinance. SECTION 10: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and for the further reason that it is immediately necessary to review all pay scales and bring them into line due to inflation and cost of living increases, and further pro- vided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
