ti CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE N0. 78-L_ BY : 4?"' AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING COMPENSATION TO BE PAID TO THE EMPLOYEES OF THE NORTH OLMSTED MUNICIPAL BUS LINE, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. ? WHEREAS, Council and the Administration wish to update the compensation schedule for the employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line in order to bring them into conformity with the rates presently being paid by the Regional Transit Authority. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: Compensation-Bus Drivers That effective February l, 1978, tEe- compensation to be paid to the bus drivers of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line shall be as follows: A. All full time drivers: l. First year service -$6.095 per hour. 2. Second year service -$6.475 per hour. 3. Third year service -$6.855 per hour. 4. Fourth year service and thereafter, top operator rate $7.62 per hour. B. All part time drivers shall be paid in a range of $5.00 to $6.00 per hour. SECTION 2: Compensation-Administrative and Maintenance Ef ective February 1, 1978, the compensation to be paid to the non-bus driving personnel of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line shall be as follows: A. Administrative Personnel: General Manager Supervisor of Operations Supervisor of Maintenance Assistant Supervisor of Maintenance Administrative Assistant Secretary Zone Supervisor B. Maintenance Employees: Mechanic Equipment Mechanic Leader Mechanic Apprentice $22,106 to $26,000 $18,964 to $23,414 $20,249 to $24,785 $10,500 to $19,000 $ls,oas to $17,500 $ 8,099 to $ 9,618 $10,500 to $19,000 $7.455 per hour to start $7.61 per hour after one year $7.665 per hour after two years $7.815 per hour after three years $8.085 per hour to start $8.195 per hour after one year $7.01 per hour to start $7.205 per hour after one year $7.33 per hour after two years ??
