A RF,S4LUT ION DECT,ARIN G IT NECESSARY' TO PR©VIDE FOR STKEET LTGHT~ G Y~ITHIN THE VILLAGE, APPROV7I~G PLAN'S AND SFECIFICATIONS THEREFOR, PROVII?ING FOR LEVYIP~G OF SPECIAL ASSESSA~TS TO PAV THE COST THEREOF AND AtTTHORIZING THE CLERK TO ADVERTISE FOFt BITS FOR FO'T~T ISH IN G SAID LIGHTING. 'IRi~iERFAS the streets, highways, and especially the important street intersections within this Village have hereto- fore bean furnished with street lighting ~mder contract between this Village and The Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company, and said contract eapirea September 19, 1950, and ~FIERFAS this Council deems it necessary and vital in the interest of public safety and general welfare to Hour provide for the lighting of said streets, highways, and inter- sections in the future, and believes that, in the interest of ~ economy, provision should be made for such lighting for a period of vne year, and WHEREAS plans and specifications therefor have been prepared and ars now on file with the Clerk of this Village; and V~'HEREAS this CoLmcil finds it necessary to provide ftmds to meet the eapenditu.re necessary to fv.2nish said light- ing by the levying of a special assessment and believes that same should be levied upon all lots, Iands and real property within the Village by a percentage of the tax wa.lue of all such lots, lands and real property to be assessed, and '9YHEREAS th®re is no newspaper printed within the ~r Village of North Olmsted, Ohio; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the Coun cif of the Vi11 age of North Olmsted, Ohio: Section l: That it is hereby declared necessary to furnish street lighting upon the streets and highways within the Village of North Olmsted, Ohio, for a period of one year from Septemb®r 19, 1950, in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor now on file with. the Clerk of this Village, which plans and specifications are hereby
