CREATION - P~~IBERSHIP (a) A Board of Appeals is hereby established. The word '~Board~~ when used in this ordinance shall be construed to mean the Board of Appeals. (b) The Board shall consist of three members recommended by the l~or and appointed by Council, One member shall be designated to serve until January 1, 1957, and one until January li 1958; and one until January lr 1959. Their successors shall be appointed, on the expiration of their respective terms, to set~ve three yearsi An appointment to fi7.1 a casual vacancy shall be only for the unexpired portion of the terms, Section 2. P~'~T.~.s. Meetings of the Board shall be held at least once a month and at such other times as the ::'Board may determine or upon call of the Chairman. All meetings shall be open to the public. The Board shall adopt its own rules of procedure and shall keep a record of its proceedings showing the vote of each member upon each question, or if absent or failing to vote indicating such fact; and shall keep records of its exaYainations and other official actions. Every rule or regulation every amendnyent or repeal thereof and every order, requirement, decision or determination of the Board shall immediately be filed in the office of the Board and becomes a public record. Section 3. Ate. An appeal from the decision of the Administrative Officer may be made to the Board of Appeals by ar~r person aggrieved or by any officer of the City affected by ar~y decision of the Ac~m3.nistrative Officer. The appelant shall file with the Administrative Officer and with the Board of Appeals a notice of appeal specifying the grounds thereof. Such appeal shall. be taken within a reasonable tame as provided by the rules of the Board by filing wi+,.h the officer from whom i~he appeal is taken and with the Board of Appeals a notice of appeal specifying the grounds thereof.
